10 Stories That Stop You From Dropping the Weight | Weight Loss for Foodies Podcast

What stories do you tell yourself that keep you from finally dropping your extra weight?

Maybe you don’t realize it, but we all have our little stories. Things we believe about ourselves and our relationship with food and weight loss. Stories that we have believed for so long that we don’t even question them

But what if you did question them? I bet you’d find out that most--and maybe all of them--aren’t true!

When you stop believing those stories, you can clear your path to lose weight and keep it off!

Listen to learn which of these ten stories you tell yourself and how you can change your beliefs to help you achieve your weight goals.

About the author

Shari Broder

My mission is to help foodies ditch dieting and lose the weight for good. Discover what is really causing your weight issues (it isn't that you love food!), and learn how to stop obsessing about food and make peace with food and eating. Get off the diet hamster wheel once and for all and learn to eat consciously, stop emotional eating and enjoy the foods you love while permanently losing your desire to overeat.

  1. A great review for those of us who have already done the program. For the record, I’m still keeping a food log and keeping the weight off. Heard something today at PT… that there was an experiment in which the amount of protein in the diet was increased: the men lost fat and built muscle. The women did too, but not as dramatically. Wonder if this might get me off the current plateau…
