When you put food on your plate, do you think about how much you need to be lightly full? Or do you just fill the plate?
Do you eat on autopilot, automatically finishing what’s on your plate, regardless of how full you feel?
No doubt you’ve heard that two-thirds of the people in the United States are either overweight or obese. I know I’ve said it a few times in this podcast. And the reason for that is . . . overeating.
We live in a culture of overeating.
Almost everyone I know overeats.
I overate for most of my life.
Most people don’t even realize they’re doing it. I didn’t realize I was. I fooled myself (like most overweight people) into believing I didn’t eat that much, compared to other people. That was probably true because overeating is the norm.
I say this not to be judgmental. I want you to notice how much you’re eating so you can learn how to eat the right amount of food to lose weight and become your healthy weight.
LISTEN BELOW to learn how you can buck the culture of overeating, and enjoy the foods you love while dropping down to your naturally healthy weight.
