Terms and conditions

This is an agreement made between you, the Student, and Shari B. Broder (“Coach”). We agree to the following:

Commitment:

Coaching is an ongoing, co-creative relationship between a Coach and a Student. Coaching increases the Student’s opportunity for success through changing habits and thinking, and creating possibilities. Together, the parties create more power for the Student to effect meaningful change and take dynamic actions towards the Student’s goals.

Coaching facilitates a process of personal, professional and spiritual development. It is for individuals who are emotionally and psychologically healthy and who want to make changes to move forward with their lives. Coaching is not therapy or counseling or a substitute for either.

Coaching works best when both parties are all in. By entering into this relationship, the Coach and Student acknowledge that the Student wants to make significant progress and change in her/his life. The Student will treat the coaching relationship as the valuable investment that it is. Protecting this investment means showing up to every session on time and being ready to engage and take meaningful action.

Procedure:
Coaching sessions are conducted by Zoom at the times set forth for this class. These times are subject to change.

At the scheduled class time, the Student accesses Zoom by computer or mobile device. In the event that the Student must miss a class, the classes will be recorded and available for the Student to listen to at her convenience.

Confidentiality

The coaching relationship is built on trust. The Coach agrees to keep all conversations and information with the Student private and confidential, and the Student agrees to maintain the confidentiality of her classmates. Materials distributed to the Student as part of this class are for the Student's use only, and are protected by copyright laws, and the Student shall not copy or distribute these materials for any other purpose without the express written consent of the coach.

Coaching works best when the Student feels free to be completely open and honest with the Coach. The only exceptions to confidentiality are if the Student wishes the Coach to speak with another professional, and provides a release to do so in writing, or for threats of serious injury to another individual or child abuse.

Although the Coach is a lawyer, the coaching relationship is not a lawyer-client relationship, and the Coach does not provide legal advice to coaching clients.

Meet Shari

I am passionate about helping women lose weight without dieting by teaching them how to trust their inner wisdom and make peace with food and eating.  I love teaching women how to get off the diet hamster wheel by learning how to eat consciously, stop emotional eating and enjoy foods they love while losing their desire to overeat along with their excess weight.
